EMR

The EMR message bundle contains the FHIR resources necessary to support case reporting and immunization tracking for those individuals diagnosed COVID19 positive. This message bundle is typically executed from the EMR.

Lab Order

The lab order message bundle contains the FHIR resources necessary to support the initiation of the need for a specimen examination. The lab order is typically issued by the EMR and submitted to the LIS for sample collection to take place.

Lab Result

The lab result message bundle contains the FHIR resources necessary to document the results of the collected specimen sample and submit the results back to the EMR.

Lab Cancellation

The lab cancellation message bundle contains the FHIR resources necessary to support the cancellation of an existing lab order request together with the reason why it was canceled.

Lab Rejection

The lab rejection message bundle contains the FHIR resources necessary to support the rejection of an existing lab order request together with the reason why it was rejected.
